Thank you for your interest in the role of Director of Research and Impact at Career Connect. 

As a charity committed to supporting individuals to realise their potential it is crucial that all our services are making the greatest possible impact.

This role will lead in ensuring that the charity is at the forefront of evidence-based practice, influencing policy and sharing knowledge. The issues facing the individuals we support are growing more acute and it is paramount that we are focused on what works. 

This year we are developing our next Strategy for 2025-28 with research and impact as a key focus going forward. We are committed to investing directly in this area alongside targeting external funding to ensure that we are undertaking in-depth evaluations of all our programmes. 

We have recruited two Research experts to our Trustee Board, ensuring there is strong support for this key area at a strategic level. 

This role sits as a key part of our Senior Leadership Team and will have a significant internal and external profile. 

We work with tens of thousands of young people and adults every year who are supported by our expert teams, providing substantial opportunity to undertake interesting and innovative research and impact activity. 

We are still developing our research journey, so there is significant scope for this role to shape and develop our strategic approach going forward.
