At Leadership Through Sport & Business (LTSB), we don’t just prepare young people for work; we empower them to build meaningful and impactful careers. Since our founding in 2012, we have supported over 1,900 young people with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to succeed in leading firms. We are proud that 92% of our participants complete our intensive bootcamps, and that 69% of those who complete them go on to secure employment. But the impact doesn’t stop there - 99% of our alumni would recommend LTSB to others, a powerful testament to the value of our programmes. These numbers tell a story of opportunity, ambition, and achievement. However, they also reflect the tireless commitment of our team, the support of our partners, and - most importantly - the resilience and drive of the young people we serve. 

As Chair of LTSB, I’ve seen firsthand how this organisation changes lives. I am continually inspired by the stories of our alumni: young professionals climbing the career ladder, achieving promotions, buying their first homes, and starting families. It’s a privilege to play even a small part in those successes. 

The need for LTSB’s work remains as vital as ever. Social mobility isn’t just about access to opportunities - it’s about empowering people to articulate their ability, ambition, and purpose, and to find careers that align with those values. To meet this growing need, the charity has recently expanded its team and the scope of its programmes to better support young people across the UK.

We are now seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead LTSB into its next chapter. This is a pivotal moment for the organisation as we broaden our reach and deepen our impact. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our mission forward, strengthening our programmes, and ensuring that we continue to deliver meaningful opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of LTSB and play a critical part in improving opportunities for social mobility on a national scale. We are looking for a leader who shares our passion for empowering young people and has the strategic vision and leadership skills to guide LTSB through this ambitious phase of growth.
