Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Premier League Charitable Fund.
Dear Candidate,
We’re delighted that you’re interested in the role of Chief Executive with the Premier League Charitable Fund.
Established in 2010 to create positive sporting, health, personal and education opportunities for children, young people and the wider community, the independent charity distributes Premier League and partner funding to professional club community organisations (CCOs) across the Premier League, English Football League and National League.
Today, 106 CCOs from the National League to the Premier League are supported to address important societal issues and have life-changing impact in their local communities. The Premier League Charitable Fund distributes around £35million a year to CCOs, from the Premier League and partners, helping them to employ more than 6,200 people.
The Premier League Charitable Fund Chief Executive is responsible for leading a team of 30 to deliver Board-approved strategic priorities - ensuring the organisation is operationally excellent and delivering real social impact. The individual will work closely with the Board, funders and the network of professional CCOs, to drive high-quality delivery, to ensure value for money and grow the impact of Premier League Charitable Fund’s programmes. As a trusted leader, they will represent the charity, enhancing its reputation and that of its funders, strongly advocating for its beneficiaries.
As a charity and corporate foundation, the Premier League Charitable Fund benefits from a close relationship with the Premier League and its funding partners, including the Professional Footballers’ Association. Strong relationship-building skills, stakeholder engagement, and a collaborative approach are essential to advancing shared objectives. The Chief Executive must balance these responsibilities effectively, ensuring the Premier League Charitable Fund continues to be a world leader in harnessing the power of football to positively impact lives and communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the biggest sport charities in the world and we hope you’ll consider bringing your expertise to the Premier League Charitable Fund.
